Victory Cross Constitution
We believe
Whereas we, being an incorporate body of people of like precious faith:
1. We believe in the Triune God – one God in three distinct entities - God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) - and God the Holy Spirit as stated in the Apostle’s Creed:
“We believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His Only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen,” as the one and only God.
1. We believe in God the Father: the Self-Existent, Eternal, Relational, Holy, All Present, Unchanging, All knowing, All powerful, All good, Supreme Being, the first person in the Trinity, Creator, and Sustainer of all, The Great I Am, “Yahweh”, Lord and Judge over all , Abba Father, is known by His creation, His revelation, and His names; He is Perfect Love, mercy, grace, and All Truth deserving of all human worship, devotion, and obedience.
2. We believe in God the Son: Jesus (Yeshua) the Messiah (Christ): The second person of the Trinity, God incarnate, God made manifest, the Word, the Promised Messiah, Savoir, Redeemer, Emmanual, who became man, born of a Virgin Mary impregnantated by the Holy Spirit, the gift of God the Father to mankind in order to free the world of the imprisonment of sin along with its curse and to give eternal abundant life to all who believe. He is Father God’s sacrificial Lamb and a reflection of God the Father, the gift of grace. Jesus is the only way to God the Father. He is All God; thus, the same characteristics of God the Father are also God the Son’s. He is the Bread of Life, the Light of the World, the Door, the Good Shepherd, the Resurrection, the Life, the Way, and the Truth, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, the Alpha and Omega. All authority has been given to Him and is Name above all names. He is the sinless who became sin, the blessed who became cursed, sacrificing His own earthly human body for the payment of sin and the curse, shedding His blood for redemption, and sealing the new covenant. He was crucified, died, and buried for 3 days then was raised by the Holy Spirit. He walked the Earth and was witnessed doing so for 40 days and then ascended to Heaven. Jesus is alive today seated at the right hand of the Father. He is our Blessed Hope who is coming to sit on His rightful place upon the throne of David to judge both the living and the dead, to rule and reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
3. We believe in God the Holy Spirit: Ruach HaKodesh, the third person of the Trinity, the Spirit of God, the Spirit of Promise, the Comforting Counselor, Eternal Spirit, Spirit of Revelation, Spirit of Wisdom, Spirit of Truth, Spirit of Messiah, Creator Spirit, Spirit of Life. The voice of God. He is fully God and thus, has the same essence as God the Father and God the Son. He is the Spirit of power, love, and sound mind. He inspired the scriptures. He reveals God’s truth to the world, convicting of sin, indwells every believer, teaches every believer their new identity in Christ and Truth, gives understanding, reminds believers of the judgment of the adversary, gives spiritual gifts to believers, writes God’s laws upon the believer’s hearts, produces fruit unto God in believers, is the very breathe, oil, winds, and fire of God that gives life to every believer. Holy Spirit regenerates the repentant believer and sanctifies believers. Through His indwelling, He fills believers with God’s presence. He gives every believer a Heavenly language and seals believers for the day of redemption. The Spirit of God joins man to God, becoming one Spirit. He is and brings the Rhema revelation of God, unifying the connection between God and man.
4. We believe the Bible to be God’s inspired, inerrant, and infallible word - All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness and the logos revelation of His will to man and accept it as our rule for faith and conduct.
5. We believe that mankind – male and female- were created in the image of God with value and purpose, to be in relationship with God and fellow man, who through voluntary transgression separated his spirit from God’s, became destitute, empty, and desperate in need of redemption, which can be found in the sacrificial Lamb/Jesus- man’s Only hope.
6. We believe that marriage is between a man and a woman as God designed and serves a manifestation representation of the intimate relationship God desires with humanity. Thus, by joining a man and a woman in one flesh, the fullness of the image of God in mankind is revealed.
7. We believe God has called and anointed us to emphasize the fullness of the Gospel through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit.
8. We believe in unity of the body of believers, as Christ is the head, and every believer is a part of the whole; not only locally but worldwide.
9. We believe in the equipping of the body by the Holy Spirit through 12 spiritual gifts for the glory of God and building up the body/church.
10. We Believe each church/ministry/body is to assemble for worship, fellowship, counsel, and instruction in the Word of God, the work of the ministry, and spreading the Gospel of Christ to every nation as commissioned by Jesus.
Therefore, we have accepted and adopted the following Statement of Fundamental Truths and Constitution. We shall seek, by the grace of God, to be governed by the Constitution as set forth, and will also seek to teach and propagate the doctrines contained in the Statement of Fundamental Truths.
